Crests
Crests are NFT badges that record your on-chain participation in The Initiation Campaign. Each Crest you claim grants a one-time IP reward — this is the Crest Points component of your total Initiation Points.
The IP value of a Crest is also called its Crest Power (CP). Once claimed, the badge lives in your wallet permanently as an on-chain record of your standing.
Crests are claimed on-chain and span six categories across three groups.
Crest States
Every Crest in the campaign is in one of four states for your wallet:

| Locked | Not yet released in the campaign rollout — check back as epochs progress. |
| Not eligible | Released, but your wallet does not yet meet the requirement. |
| Claimable | Released and your wallet qualifies — you can claim it now. |
| Claimed | Your wallet owns the Crest NFT on-chain. |
Categories Overview
Crests are grouped into three sections, covering six distinct categories:

Core Crests
Initiation Rank
Rank Crests are earned by crossing total-IP thresholds — the same thresholds that define the Initiation Rank ladder. These Crests are uncapped: there is no limit on how many wallets can claim them.

Each Rank Crest is independent. Reaching Ronin (Rank III) lets you claim the Ashigaru, Bushi, and Ronin crests — the IP rewards add up.
LP Progression
LP Progression Crests reward depth of liquidity contribution, measured by your cumulative LP Points (not total IP). They represent fortification tiers, from a basic Outpost to the Shogunate. These Crests are capped — once the mint cap is reached, no further claims are possible.
The live minted count for each tier is shown in the app alongside the cap.

Once a capped Crest sells out, it is gone. Higher tiers have significantly tighter caps — the Shogunate cap is 20 total. If you are close to a threshold, claim before the cap fills.
Activity Crests
Trading
Trading Crests are awarded for cumulative swap volume on Pumex. Volume is tracked across all eligible pairs from the moment the campaign starts. These Crests are capped.

Testnet
Testnet Crests recognise wallets that engaged with Pumex before mainnet launched. Both are capped at 500 mints.

Community Crests
Community & Growth
Community & Growth Crests recognise specific off-chain contributions and roles. These Crests are uncapped.

Clan Allies
Clan Allies are partner-community Crests, released progressively over the course of the campaign — new allies are announced via the Crests tab and official announcements as the campaign runs.
Each Clan Allies Crest grants IP and is claimable by members of the partner community who meet that partner's snapshot or holding requirement at the time of release. Watch the Crests tab and campaign announcements for new Clan Allies as they go live.
A Note on Mint Caps
Where a Crest has a mint cap, it is published in the tables above. The live "minted / cap" counter for each capped Crest is visible in the app — the numbers above reflect the caps at launch and do not update as Crests are claimed.
Uncapped Crests (Initiation Rank and Community & Growth categories) have no limit — every qualifying wallet can claim them regardless of how many others already have.
